Butter Cake



The butter cake recipe is delightful and delicious. We can add more flavor by using dry fruit and soft fruits like blueberries or strawberries.
It is the basic recipe.

Butter Cake:

Preparation time 45 minutes

Cooking time       45 minutes

Easy

Butter         125 g

Caster sugar:     ¼ cup

Vanilla essence:     1 teaspoon

Eggs:                     3

Self- rising flour (sifted)            3 cups

Milk:                   ½ cup

1.    Making:

Preheat the oven to 180 ℃. Grace a 20 cm cake tin with melted butter, line with grease-proof paper, and grease again.
Alternative prepare cake line as directed in a novelty cake recipe.
  1. Beat butter and sugar with electric bitter. Make a smooth cream until pale and fluffy. Flavor with vanilla essence. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Fold the flour in flour with light hand beating. If you feel the mixture is thick, add milk and beat with a soft hand.
  2. Spoon mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 40-45 minutes or until cooked when tested. Remove from oven. Stand tin for 5 minutes before turning out a wire rack to cool.
